So the name
of the incarnation is Krishan Avtar!
There is a
king named Shurasena’s son Vasudev got married and boarded the chariot to go
home with his wife Devaki. Kansa was the son of Ugrasena. To please his
cousin sister Devaki, he started driving the chariot himself. While Kansa was
driving the Chariot, Akashvani addressed him and said – ‘Oh fool! The
child in the eighth womb of the person in whose chariot you are being taken
will kill you. Kansa was a great sinner. As soon as he heard the voice from the
sky, he got ready to kill Devaki. At last Vasudeva protected Devaki by
promising to hand over his son to him.
After that
Kansa imprisoned Devaki by Vasudeva. He kept killing all the sons they had. But
who can stop God’s Law? At last that time has come. From the womb of Devaki,
Narayana, the savior of the word, incarnated in the form of Shri Krishan.
As soon as
the Lord was born, the prison opened with the inspiration of Yogamaya.
Vasudev ji, kept Balkrishan in the soup ans went to Gokul. On the way,
Yamuna ji became anxious to touch the feet of the Lord krishan. The
inner child-Lord understood what Yamuna was saying. He removed the pain of
Yamuna by touching his feet. Vasudev went to Nand baba’s house and put his son
to sleep near Yashoda ji . He returned to the prison with his newborn daughter.
There was
no limit to the happiness of Nand and Yashoda after finding child Shri Krishan.
On hearing that Yashoda had a son, there was joy in the entire Gokul. There the
Lord used to woo Yashoda daily with his lovemaking. Everyone was fascinated by his
Vanshi tune. Because of stealing butter from the houses of Gopis, he was
called butter thief.
In his
childhood, Shri Krishna, while playing, destroyed Putana, Bakasur,
Trinavarta etc. He crushed Indra’s pride by lifting Govardhan mountain on one finger.
One day god
was playing ball with his friends. The ball fell into the Yamuna. Child Shri krishan jumped into Yamuna to retrieve the ball. Kaliya Naag lived in
Yamuna.
God honored
him and started dancing on his feet. In this way the Lord performed many
pastimes in his young age.
After some
time, Shri krishan came to Mathura from Gokul with Akrura. There he
blessed his devotee Sudhama, Mali and Kubja etc. Thereafter, God freed
his parents from bondage by killing the demons like Kansa and others with his
Leela.
On the battlefield,
he preached Dharma, Karma and eternal truth to Arjuna. That immortal message of
God is still benefiting people in the form of Geeta.
We all salute Leelapurushottam Lord Shri Krishan.
