The name of this incarnation is Narsingh Avtar
Hernia Kashipu was very saddened by the killing of his brother Hiranyaksha. He became a staunch opponent of God. He performed rigorous penance with the desire to become invincible. He got the boon of not dying from gods, humans or animals etc. After receiving the boon he became invincible.
Hiranyakshipu’s rule was so harsh that all gods and demons kept worshiping his feet. He used to give deVere punishment to those who worshiped God.
All the people and the Lokpal were afraid of his rule. When he could not find any other help, he started praying God. Pleased with the praise of the gods, Narayana assured to kill Hiranyakashipu.
Hiranyakashipu became very angry hearing about preaching to the demon children. He called Prahlad to the court. Prahlad ji folded his hands very politely and stood in front of the king giving the speech silently. He saw that the demon king scolded him and said, “Fool, you have become very insolent. “The fearless stream, on someone’s strength, has acted against my orders? On this Prahlad said- Father! From Brahma to the straw, all the small and big, moving and inanimate living beings are under his control, It is God who creates, protects and destroys this world through His power. Leave this evil spirit of yours. Make your mind generous towards everyone.
Hearing Prahlad’s words, Hiranyakshipu’s body started trembling with anger. He said to Prahlad’s words, Hiranyakashipu’s body started trembling with anger.
He said Prahlad- You idiot! Your delusion has now reached its limit. If your God is everywhere then tell me why is he not visible in his pillar?
Saying this, furious with anger, he himself took the sword and jumped from the throne. He punched the pillar with great force. At the same time God Narasimha appeared from inside that pillar. Half of his body was in the form of a lion and half in the form human. Within a moment God Narasimha, who was playing the game, ended the life of Hiranyakashipu. Protected his beloved his beloved devotee Prahlad.
We all salute the omnipresent Lord Nrisimha.
