Let us know about the second incarnation of Shri Narayan.

The name of this incarnation is Kashyap Avatar.

It is a matter of ancient times that due to mutual differences between Gods and Demons, enmity increased.

Kashyap Avtar

Everyday there was a fight between the two sides. One day all the Gods got scared due to the attack of demons and they ran away to God Brahma. On the advice of God Bharmaji, everyone went to Jagatguru and started praying. Pleased with the prayers of the gods, Jagatguru said- ‘Gods. You people, meet the demon king Bali lovingly. Considering him as your leader, prepare for the Churning the Ocean. At the end of the Churning of the Ocean, he will extract nectar and by drinking it you will become immortal. Saying this the God disappeared.

After this, the gods accepted Bali as the leader and started churning the ocean by turning Vasuki serpent into a rope and Mandarachal into a churning vessel. But as soon as churning started, Mandarachal itself started sinking into the sea. Everyone got worried. Finally in despair, he took recourse to God. God knew everything. He laughed and said that Ganesh ji should be worshiped at the beginning of all work, without his worship the work is not accomplished. Hearing this, people started worshipping Ganesh ji. On the other side, Leeladhari. God Kashyap took the form of a tortoise and left Mandarachal on his back. After that the Churning of the Ocean started, but it took a long time to churn. No nectar came out. Then the God Himself, having one thousand arms, started churning from both the sides. At the same time, Halahal Poison came out, after drinking which God Shiva was called Neelkanth.

Similarly, Kamdhenu, the horse named Uchchaishrava, Airavat elephant, Kaustubhamani, Kalap tree, Apsara, Goddess Lakshmi, Varuni, Dhanush, Moon, Conch, Dhanvantari and finally nectar out.

When both gods and demons started fighting for the nectar, The god gave the nectar to the gods through his Leela. The gods became immortal by drinking the nectar. They were victorious in the war.

The victorious gods started praising God Kashyap again and again. Pleased with his praise, God said, Gods, those who act in dependence on God; They are called gods. Only they get true happiness, peace and nectar or nectar- essence. But those who act with pride. They can never attain nectar. Having said this, God Kashyap disappeared.

We all salute God Kashyap, the supreme friend of devotees,
